i'm Night. most of the things i make start with me wanting something to work or look a certain way, then deciding i'd rather build it myself.
i spend a lot of time on Windows and Linux, writing C# and C++, working on desktop apps, messing with Raspberry Pi servers, and changing UI until it stops feeling generic.
this site is where i keep the stuff i'm building and the things i actually care about.

i like software with an identity. the UI matters just as much as whether the thing technically works.
break, fix, repeat
most of what i know came from trying things, breaking them, figuring out why, and doing it better the next time.

i like having my own little corner of the internet instead of depending on somebody else's platform for everything.

about me
i'm Night. i like making things that feel custom instead of polished in the exact same way as everything else. a lot of my projects start because i want a tool for myself and end up turning into something much bigger.
i use both Windows and Linux and spend most of my coding time in C# and C++. desktop apps are probably my favorite thing to build because i get to work on the actual behavior and the visual side at the same time.
i'm also into self-hosting, Raspberry Pi stuff, custom desktop setups, old internet design, Y2K interfaces, darker gothic themes, and anything that feels like somebody actually cared about the details.
i don't really stick to one kind of project. if something sounds interesting enough, i'll probably try building it.
